'the industry' aka 'the movie business' aka 'the biz' aka 'showbiz'
Maybe it's nostalgia for a time that never existed. Maybe it's a mistaken belief that at one point in history, the film industry had some honor, principle, fairness, and good taste. Maybe it's misguided despair at a stagnate career. Whatever it is... this industry blows.
